Role Title: Team Leader-Field Survey

Location: New Delhi with travel
India Institute is an independent and non-profit public policy research and advocacy organization.
Role Purpose: The Team Leader- Field Survey would be responsible for supervision of all field survey activities and co-ordination between the Head Office in New Delhi and the field.
Key responsibilities:
- Mobilise local survey team from field
- Conduct training sessions for surveyors
- Maintain all survey equipment, material and data
- Manage local survey field office where applicable
- Guide, supervise and monitor team members
- Maintain detailed documentation of daily survey experiences
- Plan field survey strategy
Minimum Educational Qualification: B.A./ B.Sc. or graduation in any other subject preferred
Minimum Experience: Candidates with prior large scale field survey experience will be preferred
Required knowledge and skills:
- Field survey and interviewing skills
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Aptitude for detailed documentation
- Demonstrated planning and team management skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft office applications
- Knowledge of the geography of the Delhi/NCR regions
- Multi-lingual candidates will be preferred but Hindi fluency is essential
Full time position for a period of six (6) months starting from December
